Don’t miss the Lyrebird Festival this November in the beautiful Megalong Valley
The Lyrebird Festival, celebrating the spectacular Megalong Valley with music, art, food, wine, talks & nature walks, is on from 14-17 November 2024. Our friends at the Bowerbird Collective who founded and direct the event, are bringing together some of Australia's finest musicians, artists and local chefs for a series of spellbinding events across art, science and conservation. Local culinary delights, intimate, world-class performances and a new installation by internationally renowned artist Janet Laurence.
All concerts and events can be booked separately or together with a festival pass and a “Pay What you Can” option is available. Performers include James Crabb – virtuoso classical accordion; Eric Avery - First Nations violinist; Alice Morgan - soprano saxophone; Hannah Lane - baroque harp; Anna Fraser – soprano; Simone Slattery - director/violin; Natalia Harvey – violin; Nicole Forsyth – viola; Katie Yap – viola; and Anthony Albrecht - director/cello.
