Justin Medcalf

Justin joined Ethinvest in 2021, bringing with him two decades of experience in the financial planning industry. In 2008, he founded an ethical investment advisory firm and went on to collaborate with Trevor Thomas and others to create the Ethical Advisers’ Co-op. Justin then established Australia's first responsible investment-dedicated investment platform, The Emerald Wrap.

 

Before joining Ethinvest, Justin served as the Head of Innovation (Wealth) at Bendigo Bank and spent most of the past decade on the board of the peak ethical and responsible investment industry body, where he helped shape the mainstreaming of responsible investment through the globally recognised Certification Program.

 

Justin is passionate about animal welfare, rewilding and protecting our natural environment and is a proud father of two.

 

When he's not working or taking the kids to weekend sports, Justin enjoys swimming, bushwalking, cycling, snowboarding, and tackling various handyman projects.

 

Based in Sydney, Justin is supported by Damian Toms (Paraplanner) and Alison Langlands (Director of Investment Operations).
