Ross Knowles B.Sc. (Hons.) Dip. Ed.  AFPA

 
 

Ross was the co-founder of Ethinvest in 1989. He was also the founding co-president of the Ethical Investment Association (now the Responsible Investment Association of Australasia), and was editor of the book Ethical Investment (CHOICE Books 2000).

 

Ross is responsible for Strategic Planning and Marketing and is the Co-Chair of Ethinvest’s Investment Committee.


Ross is a keen environmentalist and has played a part in the protection of some significant Australian wilderness areas including Washpool National Park on the northern ranges of NSW and Yengo National Park north of Sydney. He has also described three new species of Australian frog, two of which are on the endangered species list.


He continues to make use of his biologist background, by conducting wildlife surveys and as a wildlife photographer. Ross is also a keen (touring) cyclist.
